His Servants Update . . .

Ephesians 2:10  "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good

works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

If you or someone you know is in need, please let

us know.

During this time of “social distancing” please reach out to each other, especially to those whose main social connection is through the church. Phone calls, text messages, emails, Facebook, etc. are all electronic communication that will not expose you to the virus. Please take the time to reach out to each other.

If you have prayer requests, need assistance or reassurance, please contact Pastor Gideon, Ali Coulter, or anyone else you are comfortable talking to.

From Elrene:

Our health care facilities including the sunset home is in need of masks. Sew Good Goods https://www.sewgoodgoods.org/ has the instructions on their website for CDC approved masks. Allina, CDC, have approved these for use including healthcare workers.

From Ali:

Hospitals and clinics across the Country are asking for anyone that is able to make cloth masks. There is link with instructions at https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=www.deaconess.com%2Fhow-tomake-a-facemask&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ce177345fbce245c4844e08d7cf3216fd%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaa aaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637205686341497009&sdata=UNDRvR3y5UHCpOF3lRdSa3Etnf0%2F5h5b mdTc1YfHtJ4%3D&reserved=0.

I have lots of fabric if people need some. But I do not have lots of elastic. If anyone has any flat 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch elastic at home that they would be willing to donate to someone else, that would be great, as you can't readily find it right now. The fabric has to be closely woven 100% cotton like quilting fabric. It should be washed in hot water and dried on high before sewing. How to make it is included on the site above.

For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

** June 9-12 AFLC Annual Conference ** ‘Will He Find Faith?’ Luke 18:8 Call Val for information on lodging and meals. You may register on the ARC website. Quotes taken from a letter dated 3/18/20, from Kirk Rautio, Executive Director at the ARC:

~ “We are taking extra precautions and stepping up the sanitation of all buildings, enabling some office staff to work from home and making sure everything is shut off and turned down to mitigate costs.” ~ “It was at our last group, this past weekend, that I was greeted with “HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED” ...Praise the Lord! This statement has been true, will be true and remains to be true. Christ is Risen, He alone has conquered death, the devil and even viruses.”

~ “May we take this time to turn to the Lord and ask Him to find us righteous before Him, may we ask Him who knows this situation to hold us securely in His hand(as He securely does) and may we REST in HIM.”

~ “I thank you for your prayers and support of The ARC.”

*Please be in prayer for Kirk, the ARC Board, and the rest of the ARC staff for help in their decision making, health, and safety.
