But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” ( that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame. “ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10: 8-13.
Emmanuel Sunday school has begun! Our first day was September 13th, and it was filled with singing, getting to know each other, and setting our focus for the year ahead. We're excited to have our openings focus on the entire bible. We are taking a broad, zoomed out view of the Bible - how every book is telling one big story that leads us to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our offering this year will be given to the AFLC ministry in Alaska, primarily the radio station ministry. KAKN has the children's programming on Saturdays. $63 will sponsor one Saturday, and our goal is to fund all the Saturdays in January ( $315 total). You can listen here live: kakn.org/listen.
Sunday school has classes for pre-schoolers through adults, and we would love for you to join us each week at 9:00 a.m.!
